  A very welcoming church that makes you feel good. I truly enjoy the sermons by its pastor, the music, the singing and the interaction of the pastor with the congregation. Highly recommend you give this church a try if you are looking for a new beginning.

  The people at Sunrise are decent, respectable folks. They have really active youth programs that reach out into the community. The facilities have undergone a major improvement in the last few years. the only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars, and keeps myself and my family from attending is the lack of a traditional service. Its a small congregation that only can support one Sunday service. And, I understand people my age and younger seems to lean toward the christian rock music so that would explain the christian rock service. But, on Sunday morning I need a break from the temporal and for one hour or two hours I need the ethereal.

  Sunrise United Methodist Church in Wright City, Missouri has and continues to be the strongest foundation in my life. It fulfills me spiritually and emotionally. It is not just a "church", it is a family. Something and someone you can always count on is there whenever you need something. Our pastor, Troy Merseal, is the rock of our church family. He is a great pastor and also a great friend. Everyone's commitment is for serving God and passing His word out into the community. God has truly blessed us with this wonderful church.

  Let me just say I started going to this church the end of last year. It is the best thing that has happened to me. The Pastor and members are fantastic. For the first time in my life I look forward to going to church every Sunday.
